For a US based veterinary hospital consolidator, led strategic and day-to-day operations of a national twenty-two site portfolio of hospitals with full P&L responsibility of revenues in excess of $60M with an organization of 40 direct reports and 400 employees.
Led innovative local growth and marketing initiatives with a strong focus on revenue generation such as service mix, pricing and improving same hospital growth/margins leading to record annual revenue growth of 14% and 26% EBITDA growth for the division.
Maintained and built upon established relationships with veterinarians and their teams extending that capability into new practices as they were
acquired resulting in an 82% overall Employee Engagement score vs. global company benchmark of 76%.
REGIONAL BUSINESS MANAGER
June 2015 - June 2017
Responsible for leadership, coaching, and development of 7 Territory Managers, Clinical and Inside Sales Specialists with a focus on expanding business and brand loyalty within strategic accounts consisting of diabetes clinics, hospital teaching institutions, and other major medical centres.
Developed annual sales and marketing strategic plans for Central Canada. Developed KPIs, templates, planning cadence and conducted quarterly reviews. Coached peers and direct reports through the process codifying the strategic plan.
Directly responsible for relationships with Public and Private Payors, Patient Advocacy Groups, and Academic and Clinical Practice key opinion leaders in the region which were leveraged to inform and provide recommendations to internal stakeholders to accelerate sales and education on the device.
Implemented international peer to peer sales mentorship program connecting Canadian Territory Managers with US counterparts and also created a clinical education journal review club to aid in continuously improving Clinical Education amongst the regional team.
Achieved 105% and 115% of sales quota in 2016 and 2017 respectively with annual sales growth of >20% annually.
